Our Vision

We aspire to create an educational center where the ancient Indian tradition of knowledge beautifully converges with the modern education system, enriching students physically, intellectually, and spiritually.

Our Journey

This Gurukul, established by Acharya Shri Swamiprasad Mishra (Shrinivasacharya Ji), was started in 2001 from Chandigarh and, despite many challenges, is now operating in its permanent campus in Panchkula. With the support of the Government of Haryana, the community, and devoted well-wishers, this ashram has now become a living example of the preservation of Indian culture.

Founder's Message

The Gurukul education system removes ignorance, negligence, and stubbornness in a child, awakening their latent talents and opening the doors to knowledge and science. It nurtures in the student essential virtues such as humility, integrity, courage, self-respect, determination toward goals, pride in the nation, alertness toward duty, tolerance, compassion, kindness, love, service, and harmony.

Sanskrit is the soul of our eternal culture, and the Vedas are its timeless life-force. Today, when values and virtues are fading in the glare of materialism, it is essential that we make life meaningful once again in the light of our ancient knowledge and wisdom.

Shri Muktinath Veda Vidya Ashram (Sanskrit Gurukul) aims not only at the study of scriptures but at the practice of direct knowledge or purity — the knowledge that can liberate the soul from its bonds, infuse consciousness into society, and provide cultural strength to the nation.

This Gurukul lives the spirit of the guru-shishya tradition, where students are taught the Vedas, scriptures, grammar, philosophy, and ethics through traditional methods. Additionally, values such as discipline, service, character, and compassion are also integrated into the education. For the fulfillment of these objectives, the campus has become a place that provides training in all the essential elements of life and harmonious living. The well-organized classrooms, well-equipped hostels, large sports grounds, music rooms, computer labs, temple, yajna hall, and other facilities are nurturing and shaping the dormant talents and abilities of the students. This campus is fully committed to shaping the future of its students to the best of its ability. I urge all the knowledgeable, spiritual individuals, scholars, and lovers of Sanskrit to...

I urge all the knowledgeable, spiritual individuals, scholars, and lovers of Sanskrit to participate in this sacred yajna — there is no greater donation than the donation of knowledge, and no greater service than the preservation of Sanskrit.
"Knowledge is the highest form of divinity."
